Some 1990-1992 Trans Sport models with 3.1L V-6 engine (RPO LG6) , may exhibit a slight power steering shudder condition noted during static or low speed turning maneuvers. This condition may be perceived by the vehicle operator as a disturbance felt and heard through the body structure and steering wheel.
A combination of power steering pump pressure pulses and engine firing frequency generating a disturbance through the body structure.
Replace the existing power steering return hose/pipe assembly (steering gear to cooler pipe) with new assembly indicated below with internal tuning cable.
