The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
If diagnostics leads you to replacing spark plug wire(s) (cable) GM Powertrain Engineering would like to have the old spark plug wire(s) returned for analysis.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Contact Jim Kelly at (586) 492-5612 and he will supply you with a parts waiver and shipping information on where to send the old spark plug wire(s) to.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
