Preliminary Procedures

Remove the left side rear weatherstrip. Refer to Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip Replacement.

Folding Top Left Side Rear Weatherstrip Retainer Screws (Qty: 4)

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip

    • Inspect the fit of the seal to door glass.
    • Cycle the top and inspect the joint between side front/rear rail weatherstrips.

Partially remove the side rear weatherstrip for access to the retainer screws. Refer to Folding Top Side Rear Weatherstrip Replacement .

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Tip

    • If necessary, adjust the weatherstrip retainer. Refer to Folding Top Side Front Weatherstrip Retainer and Side Rear Weatherstrip Retainer Adjustment .
    • Inspect the fit of the seal to door glass.
    • Cycle the top and inspect the joint between side front/rear rail weatherstrips.
