The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
If you have to replace the front caliper bracket-to-knuckle attachment or the front & rear wheel bearing/hub assembly -to-knuckle attachment bolt, the correct part number for this bolt is 11570091, which is 43mm long.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Do not attempt to use bolt 11609768, which is 36mm long, listed in the parts manual. Bolt 11609768 is listed incorrectly and is too short. (36mm verses 43mm)
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
