The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some owners may comment that the engine coolant temperature gage in the instrument panel indicates the engine is running hotter than normal.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Please check the vehicles coolant level when the unit is sufficiently cool. Drive the unit and monitor the coolant with the tech II. If the coolant level is okay per the Tech II and does not indicate a overheat please advise the customer that this is the normal operating range for the vehicle.

This document will be updated if new information becomes available.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
