Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220637 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  3. Remove the outside rear door handle bolts (2).
  4. Remove the outside rear door handle (1).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1220637 Size: SH
  1. Install the outside rear door handle (1) with the bolts (2).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4.5 N·m (40 in lb).

  2. Install the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
