Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2008 🢒 Grand Prix 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Interior Trim and Paneling 🢒 Front Side Door Window Switch Bezel Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim pad. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 840599 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bezel screws.
  3. Remove the bezel from the trim pad.

    4. Object Number: 858248 Size: SH
  4. Remove the switch harness. Refer to Front Side Door Switch Harness Replacement .
  5. Remove the switches from the door bezel.
  6. Remove the bezel from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the bezel on the door trim pad.

    2. Object Number: 858248 Size: SH
  2. Press the switches into the bezel.
  3. On the left door, install the switch harness. Refer to Front Side Door Switch Harness Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 840599 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the bezel screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the front door trim pad. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
