| Fitting, Brake Hose
Tip Cap or plug the brake hose fitting and the open inlet port of the brake caliper to prevent fluid loss and contamination. |

| Gasket, Brake Hose Fitting (Qty: 2)
Tip DO NOT reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets. Install NEW gaskets. |

| Bolt, Brake Caliper Guide Pin (Qty: 2)
Tighten 60 N·m (44 lb ft) |

| Caliper, Brake
Tip
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to
Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
.
- With the engine OFF, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance.
- Slowly release the brake pedal.
- Wait 15 seconds, then repeat steps 2-3 until a firm brake pedal is obtained. This will properly seat the brake caliper pistons and the brake pads.
- Fill the master cylinder reservoir to the proper level. Refer to
Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling
.
- Burnish the pads and rotors. Refer to
Brake Pad and Rotor Burnishing
.

Tip DO NOT reuse the brake hose fitting gaskets. Install NEW gaskets. |

| Bolt, Brake Caliper Guide Pin (Qty: 2)
Tighten 95 N·m (70 lb ft)
Tip
- Note the location of the brake caliper guide pin bolts. The upper guide pin bolt is equipped with a bushing and must be installed in the same location.
- Clean the guide pin bolts with denatured alcohol and a clean cloth.
- Apply a thin coat of high temperature silicone brake lubricant to the brake caliper guide pin bolt and the brake caliper bracket bore.

Tip
