The head-up display (HUD) page switch is a momentary contact switch. The HUD monitors the switch signal circuit in order to perform the page switch functions. The HUD page switch allows the driver to select a display format within a HUD display mode. The HUD has three standard format pages. Each press of the page switch displays the next format page. Vehicle information and warnings can be acknowledged or removed by pressing the page switch. When the HUD page switch is depressed and the ignition is in the RUN position, the switch signal to the HUD is low.
The ignition is in RUN.
The HUD detects that the HUD page switch signal circuit is low for greater than 60 seconds.
The HUD ignores the malfunctioning switch circuit.
• | The DTC becomes history when the conditions for setting the DTC are no longer present. |
• | The history DTC clears after 40 malfunction-free warm-up cycles. |

⇒ | If greater than the specified value, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. |
⇒ | If less than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the HUD. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
