Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.
Remove the bolts (2) that attach the window to the regulator.
1.1. | Point the lower front corner of the front door window down. |
1.2. | Pass the front door window through the belt opening. |
1.3. | Align the edges of the window with the door window weatherstrip. |
1.4. | Ensure that both sealing lips on the front door outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downward. |
If this condition is present, the window will not raise properly.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
