AT START OF PRODUCTION THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY CHANGED ON THE 3.1 (LG6), ALSO A MODEL YEAR RUNNING CHANGE ON THE 3.1 (LHO) AND 3.4 (LQ1). THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY IS NOW MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL. THIS NEW PULLEY HAS A FLANGE WHICH DECREASES THE DIAMETER OF THE ACCESS HOLE WHICH PREVIOUS "J" AND "BT" USED. THESE SPECIAL TOOLS WILL NOT WORK. REFER TO FIGURE 1 FOR CORRECT SPECIAL TOOL APPLICATIONS.

REMOVAL:

J 25034-B BASE ONLY -WITH- J 37609 SCREW

J 37609-A POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY REMOVAL (THIS IS A COMPLETE SCREW AND BASE ASSEMBLY)

INSTALLATION:

J 36015 POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY INSTALLER
