This improves the Diagnostic test information in the 1990 thru 1992 Grand Prix Service Manuals Section 8A-86, Page 8A-86-9. Use the following updated diagnostic procedures when servicing the Driver Information Centre (DIC).
Add the following symptom and diagnosis to the SYMPTOM TABLE:
Symptom: SYSTEM FAILURE message is displayed (STE only).
Diagnosis: Communication with the Driver Information Centre (DIC) Module has been lost.
Check for a poor connection or an open in the DK GRN/WHT (935), YEL (936) and RED/WHT (937) wires (refer to schematic page 8A-86-0).
