UPDATE-SEC.8A-60 DIAGNOSIS OF AIR TEMP. VALVE MOTOR

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 GRAND PRIX

The test conditions given in the Air Temperature Valve Motor Test in the 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix Service Manual, Section 8A-60 are reversed. Please make the following corrections to your copy of the 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix Service Manual.

1. On Page 8A-60-9 Air Temperature Valve Motor Test (Table 1), change the condition statement "Temperature Lever: COLD" to "Temperature Lever: HOT".

2. On Page 8A-60-9 Air Temperature Valve Motor Test (Table 1), change the condition statement "Temperature Lever: HOT" in the middle of the table to "Temperature Lever: COLD".

3. On Page 8A-60-10 Air Temperature Valve Motor Test (Table 2), change the condition statement "Temperature Lever: COLD" to "Temperature Lever: HOT".

4. On Page 8A-60-10 Air Temperature Valve Motor Test (Table 2), change the condition statement "Temperature Lever HOT" in the middle of the table to "Temperature Lever: COLD".
