Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
  2. Remove the flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement .
  3. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Removal .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the rear main seal. Refer to Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Installation .
  2. Install the flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement .
  3. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
  4. Inspect for proper fluid levels.
  5. Inspect for leaks.
