--------- Owners of some 1992 "N" cars with AM9 split folding rear seat back option may comment on being able to push the folding door panels back past the stop bracket. This bracket is located on the rear side of the rear seat back collar at the inner upper corners of the door panels.
----- The stop bracket is not long enough.
---------- Replace the existing stop bracket with a new bracket (part #16721075).
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and seatback.
2. Remove (3) screws securing the stop bracket and replace with new bracket.
3. Reinstall the rear seatback and cushion.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
