APPLICATION: All 1992 Grand Am and Sunbird series vehicles with front bucket (AR9) seats.
CONDITION: Some owners of 1992 Grand Am and Sunbird models with AR9 bucket front seats may comment that when making a sharp right or left turn, a creaking noise from the driver seat, and front passenger seat (when occupied) occurs.
CAUSE: Excessive space between the inner front seatback pivot pin and the pivot bushing.
1. Put seatback in its most forward position.
2. From rear of seat, install spacer GM P/N 16743252 on pivot pin.
Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
