LEAK IN RIGHT HAND CENTERAIR (INSTALL SEAL ON SIDE OF I/P)

SUBJECT: LIGHT LEAK IN RIGHT HAND CENTER AIR OUTLET (INSTALL SEAL ON SIDE OF I/P CLUSTER COVER)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 GRAND AM MODELS built prior to the following VIN numbers: VIN NC275899 NM085094

CONDITION:

--------- Some owners of 1992 Grand Am models built prior to the above VIN numbers, may comment that light can be seen through the right hand center air outlet of the instrument panel during daylight hours.

CORRECTION:

---------- Remove Instrument Panel Cluster Cover as outlined in the 1992 Grand Am Service Manual, Section 8C.

1. Apply seal P/N 22587858 to I/P cluster cover as illustrated.

2. Reinstall I/P cluster cover.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
