SUBJECT: LOOSE MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL ASSEMBLY (REPLACE FRONT SIDE UPPER DOOR TRIM)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 GRAND AM MODELS

CONDITION:

---------- Some owners of 1992 Grand Am models may comment that the left hand mirror cable remote control assembly becomes loose at the front side upper door trim.

CAUSE:

------ Inadequate retention of the set screw to the palnut.

CORRECTION:

----------- Replace the existing front side upper door trim with the appropriate revised part listed below:
