DEFECTIVE PARTS INSTALLED ON VEHICLES OTHER THAN PONTIACS

Subject: DEFECTIVE SERVICE PARTS INSTALLED BY DEALER ON GM VEHICLES THAT ARE NOT PONTIACS

This bulletin is to clarify bulletin 89-WA-3A issued 5189.

GM vehicles that are not Pontiac but have defective parts are to be submitted using Type "B" claim with the Labor Operation T9000. The appropriate failure code and labor for the operation performed, per the Labor Time Guide, should be used.
