REVISED TORQUE VALVES FOR FUEL LINE NUTS AT TBI UNIT

Models Affected: 1989 6000 AND GRAND AM MODELS

This bulletin serves to revise the torque specifications for the 2.5L (VIN R & U) fuel line nuts and TBI inlet/outlet nuts listed in Section "6E2-C2", "Driveability and Emissions" in the 1989 6000 and Grand Am Service Manuals.

The new specifications are listed below:

TBI Fuel Inlet/Outlet Nuts - 41.0 N.m (30 lb. ft.) Fuel Feed and Return Line Nuts at TBI Unit - 27.0 N.m (20 lb. ft.)
