The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

On automatic transmission equipped vehicles, the speedometer may flare when shifting from Park to Drive. This concern may be intermittent and may also occur when shifting into another gear besides Drive.

Issue is vibration in drivetrain being read by wheel speed sensors. The event has been reviewed and determined that the conditions causing the event are not safety or performance related and should not occur while driving. Due to the extensive engineering required to resolve the issue, there will not be a correction for this concern.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
