Removal Procedure
  1. Ensure that the radio is turned off.
  2. Remove the instrument panel outer cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Remove the windshield defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    4. Object Number: 1358690 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the speaker harness connectors (1), from the speaker.
  5. Remove the speaker retaining screw (2), then pull the speaker rearward to remove.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the speaker in the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1358690 Size: SH
  2. Install the speaker retaining screw (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the speaker retaining screw to 2N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the speaker harness connectors (1), to the speaker.
  4. Install the windshield defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Install the instrument panel outer cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
