Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the hood.
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.
  3. Remove the upper radiator shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  4. If removing the right hand headlamp assembly, it may be necessary to remove the battery to gain access. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.

  5. Object Number: 1254806  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the turn signal wire harness connector (1) and the headlamp wiring harness connector (4).
  7. Remove the 3 headlamp retaining bolts (2) .
  8. Remove the headlamp assembly (5) from the vehicle (3).
  9. Remove the high beam bulb from the headlamp assembly, if necessary. Refer to Headlamp Bulb Replacement .
  10. Remove the low beam bulb from the headlamp assembly, if necessary. Refer to Headlamp Bulb Replacement .
  11. Remove the park/turn signal lamp bulb from the headlamp assembly, if necessary. Refer to Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the park/turn signal lamp bulb to the headlamp assembly, if removed. Refer to Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement .
  2. Install the low beam bulb to the headlamp assembly, if removed. Refer to Headlamp Bulb Replacement .
  3. Install the high beam bulb to the headlamp assembly, if removed. Refer to Headlamp Bulb Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 1254806  Size: SH
  5. Position the headlamp assembly (5) to the vehicle (3).
  6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  7. Install the 3 headlamp retaining bolts (2).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the headlamp retaining bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  9. Connect the headlamp wiring harness connector (4) and the turn signal wire harness connector.
  10. Install the battery, if removed. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  11. Install the upper radiator shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  12. Install the front bumper fascia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.
  13. Aim headlamps, if necessary. Refer to Headlamp Aiming .
  14. Close the hood.
