Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 1355806  Size: SH
  6. Remove the upper center pillar cap (1) from the upper attachment of the upper center pillar upper trim (2).
  7. Remove 3 screws  (3) securing the upper center pillar trim.
  8. Pull the upper edge of the upper center pillar away from the headliner to disengage the upper center pillar retaining clip  (4).
  9. Important: When removing the upper center pillar trim panel, ensure not to damage the locating pin below the upper attaching screw.

  10. Feed the seat belt and anchor plate through the upper center pillar trim panel, then remove the trim panel.
  11. If required, remove the seat belt adjuster trim  (5), by gently spreading the outer edges of the hinge pillar trim panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. If removed, install the seat belt adjuster trim  (5) to the hinge pillar trim panel.
  2. Feed the seat belt and anchor plate through the upper center pillar trim panel, then install the trim panel.
  3. Push the upper edge of the upper center pillar trim panel to the headliner to engage the center upper pillar trim panel retaining clip (4).
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install 3 screws (3) securing the upper center pillar trim panel.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 upper center pillar trim panel retaining screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the upper center pillar trim panel cap (1) to the upper attachment of the upper center pillar trim panel (2).
  8. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  10. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  11. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
