Removal Procedure
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing
any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to
the vehicle or its components.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable.
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Disconnect the following electrical connectors
as necessary:
• | The power mirror connector (3) |
• | The power mirror switch connector (2), if equipped |
• | The door lock switch connector (1), if equipped |
• | The power door lock actuator connector (7) |
• | The power window motor connector (6) |
• | The door-body wiring harness connectors (4) |
• | The speaker connector (5) |
- Remove the wiring retainers.
- Remove the door wiring harness from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the wiring harness to the vehicle.
- Install the wiring harness retainers.
- Connect the following electrical connections
as necessary:
• | The power mirror connector (3) |
• | The power mirror switch connector (2), if equipped |
• | The door lock switch connector (1), if equipped |
• | The power door lock actuator connector (7) |
• | The power window motor connector (6) |
• | The door-body wiring harness connectors (4) |
• | The speaker connector (5) |
- Install the water deflector. Refer to
Door Water Deflector Replacement
.
- Connect the battery negative cable.
