Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2008 🢒 G8 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, or 7.0L 🢒 Valve Lifter Oil Manifold Installation

    Object Number: 2044001 Size: SH
  1. DO NOT lift the Valve Lifter Oil Manifold (VLOM) (2) by the electrical lead frame (1).

    2. Object Number: 2044524 Size: SH

    Important: 

       • All gasket surfaces should be free of oil or other foreign material during assembly.
       • Do not allow dirt or debris to enter the VLOM. Plug, as required.

  2. Install the VLOM outer gasket (1) onto the VLOM (2).

    3. Object Number: 2044511 Size: SH
  3. Install the VLOM (1) to the cylinder block (3).

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the VLOM to cylinder block retaining bolts (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
