Models:2006-2007 Pontiac G6 Coupe Only
with Standard Sunroof (RPO CF5)



This bulletin is being revised to change the model years and add a new illustration to Step 3. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-08-57-004 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).


Condition

Some customers may comment that the headliner, seat belt or the front or rear floor is wet.

Cause

The sun roof rear drain hose(s) may have become disconnected from the sunroof module.

Correction

  1. Partially lower the headliner and inspect the rear sunroof drains for proper routing.
  2. Incorrect Routing

    Important: Do not kink the hose when rerouting. Disconnect the hose from the two retaining clamps and carefully reroute correctly.

  3. If either of the rear drain hose have come loose or are routed incorrectly, reroute them correctly . The drain hose should be routed to the outside of the coat hook retainers.

  4. Object Number: 1879083  Size: SH
  5. Clamp the drain hose by installing a tie strap around the rubber coupling to the drain hose. See illustration above.
