The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

A condition could exist when raising the driver or passenger front windows. The front door glass may ride up on the inside of the rear 1/4 glass seal. This condition is considered a scissoring effect. If left unaddressed it could damage or pop off the rear 1/4 glass molding.

Recommendation/Instructions:

If you notice this condition it will be necessary to adjust the front door glass rear tip in. Please reference SI-2000 DOC# 1836400 (Front Side Door Window and Quarter Window Adjustment) to assist you in making the proper adjustments for this condition.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
