Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the front seat from the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact module. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  5. Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 1284501 Size: SH
  6. Remove the J-channels from the seat frame.

    7. Object Number: 1506499 Size: SH
  7. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the seat frame.
  8. Remove the hog rings from the seat back pad.

    9. Object Number: 519883 Size: SH
  9. Remove the seat back cover from the pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 519883 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat back cover to the pad.
  2. Install the hog rings to the seat back pad.

    3. Object Number: 1506499 Size: SH
  3. Install the seat back cover and pad to the seat frame.
  4. Install the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement .
  5. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 1284501 Size: SH
  6. Install the J-channels to the seat frame.
  7. Install the inflatable restraint side impact module. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Side Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
  8. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the front seat in the vehicle. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
