Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the lumbar knob from the seat. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1284535 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fastener from the lumbar actuator.
  4. Remove the lumbar springs from the seat frame.
  5. Remove the lumbar assembly from the seat frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1284535 Size: SH
  1. Install the lumbar assembly to the seat frame.
  2. Install the lumbar springs to the seat frame.
  3. Install the fastener to the lumbar actuator.
  4. Install the seat back panel. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Replacement .
  5. Install the lumbar knob to the seat. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
  6. Verify that the lumbar operates properly.
