Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat center shoulder belt assemblies. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement .

Panel Assembly, Rear Seat Back Cushion Extension

Nut, Rear Seat Back Cushion Panel (Qty: 8)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Cover, Rear Seat Back Cushion

Tip
The rear seat back cover is secured to the pad with hook and loop fasteners.

Pad, Rear Seat Back Cushion

Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement Sedan/Coupe

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat head restraints. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 508362 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat back frame.

    4. Object Number: 1297071 Size: SH
  4. Remove the staples from the seat back cover.
  5. Remove the seat back cover from the pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1297066 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat back cover to the pad.
  2. Staple the seat back cover to the seat back.

    3. Object Number: 508362 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear seat back frame.
  4. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
  5. Install the rear seat head restraints. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
