Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear seat center shoulder belt assemblies. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement .

Nut, Rear Seat Back Cushion Panel (Qty: 8)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Tip
The rear seat back cover is secured to the pad with hook and loop fasteners.

Rear Seat Back Cushion Frame Replacement Sedan/Coupe

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1233221 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1537098 Size: SH
  2. Remove rear seat back bolsters. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1537129 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat back bolts.
  4. Remove the rear seat backs from the rear seat back frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1537120 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat backs to the rear seat back frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear seat back to seat back frame bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear seat back bolsters. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement .
  4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
