Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear spoiler if necessary. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement .
2. Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement .
3. Remove the latch. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement .

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Adjust as necessary.

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement
2. Disconnect all electrical components and remove harness from the rear lid and set aside.

Rear Compartment Lid

Important: It is important that the shim between the hinge and the compartment lid be reused. Failure to use shim will result in damage to convertible top or compartment lid.

Tip
Adjust the new lid as needed after replacing.
