1	Did you review the Heated Seat System Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?	Go to Step 2	Go to Heated Seats Description and Operation
2	Verify that the Heated Seat Always ON complaint is present. Does the heated seat system operate as described in the system description and operation?	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections	Go to Step 3
3	Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Do the HI or LO heated seat switch indicators remain illuminated with the switch in the OFF position?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 4
4	Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the heated seat module. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Probe the heated seat switch signal circuit of the heated seat module connector with a test lamp that is connected to a good ground. Does the test lamp illuminate?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 5
5	Test the heated seat element supply voltage circuit for a short to voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 8
6	Test the heated seat switch signal circuit for a short to voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 7
7	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the heated seat switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 9
8	Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the heated seat control module. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs . Did you find and correct the condition?	Go to Step 11	Go to Step 10
9	Replace the heated seat switch. Refer to Heated Seat Switch Replacement . Is the repair complete?	Go to Step 11	--
