Low and High Beams Inoperative Hatchback

Diagnostic Aids

If there are several other symptoms, including an inoperative radiator fan, the windshield washer pump, or the turn signal lamps, inspect ground G102 and G104.

Test fuses EF18, EF23, EF24, EF25, EF26, and EF19.

Are any fuses open?

Go to Step 2

  1. Test for a short circuit and repair, if necessary.
  2. Replace the fuse.

Is the repair complete?

Turn ON the low beam headlamps.

Do the low beam headlamps work?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 4

Inspect the low beam headlamps system. Refer to Low Beams Inoperative .

Is any problem found?

Go to Step 5

Repair the problem.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Turn ON the high beam headlamps.

Do the high beam headlamps work?

System OK

Go to Step 7

Inspect the high beam headlamps system.

Is any problem found?
