Subject: FRONT DOOR GLASS RETAINER ASSEMBLIES (COMMONLY CALLED "DOOR GLASS PATCH") NEW PARTS USAGE

Models Affected: 1992 FIREBIRD MODELS

1991 Firebird vehicles built after VIN breakpoint NL202399 will use a new type front door glass retainer assembly.

The new part combines the vertical weatherstrip and plastic panel (used on earlier styles) into a single component.

If service of these parts is required, it is recommended that the part be replaced with the type part it was built with.

Example:

- Past models prior to 1992 VIN breakpoints, use the early type multi piece retainer. - Models built after VIN breakpoints, use new components.

Part Numbers: 10198202 - Right 10198203 - Left
