TURBO INTERCOOLER DUCT INSTALLATION MAY OVERHEAT

Models Affected: 1989 20th ANNIVERSARY TRANS AM PACE CARS

The turbo intercooler duct for the 1989 20th Anniversary Trans Am (Option Y82), along with the necessary fasteners and instructions, has been loose shipped with the vehicle. Dealers must install this duct while performing the predelivery inspection.

Labor time studies indicate that an additional labor allowance of .2 hours is required on all Trans Am vehicles.

The Claims Processing System has been programmed to pay this additional labor allowance on all of the above mentioned vehicles.
