The installation sequence for locating the fender liner is important to assure proper fit. Should it become necessary to adjust the wheelhouse liner to prevent the tire from rubbing the liner, follow the procedure below.
1. Remove wheel and tire.
2. Remove attaching screws (see illustration).
3. Hold liner flush against front of wheelhouse and install two (2) screws.
4. Hold liner up and rearward, then drive remaining screws.
5. Reinstall wheel and tire.
6. Turn wheel fully side-to-side to check for adequate clearance.
7. Re-cap the protruding screws as per the illustration.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
