TPS-NOT ADJUSTABLE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADJUST

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR IS NOT ADJUSTABLE FOR 1983-85 2.5L-TBI (ENGINE CODES 2, R AND U) AND 1982-85 1.8L-TBI (ENGINE CODES O, J)

Throttle Position Sensors are non-adjustable on 2.5L-TBI (Engine Codes 2, R, U) and 1.8L-TBI (Engine Codes O, J). No attempt (bending, etc.) should be made to adjust Throttle Position Sensors on subject engines. Throttle Position Sensors that do not meet specifications should be replaced. The TPS on the 1982 2.5L engine is adjustable.

Labor Operation J6357 will no longer be valid for Engine Codes O, J, R, U, and 2.
