ABS/TCS FAULT CODES 43/47 MISLABELED - SHOULD BE 44/48

Subject: ABS/TCS FAULT CODES 43 AND 47 HAVE BEEN MISLABELED AND SHOULD BE 44 AND 48

Models Affected: 1992 BONNEVILLE MODELS

Due to a fault code labeling error in the electronic brake control module software in 1992 Bonneville models, ABS/TCS fault codes 44 and 48 have been mislabeled as fault codes 43 and 47, respectively. Codes 43 and 47 should simply be treated as codes 44 and 48 when diagnosing a vehicle. The diagnostics in Section 5El of the Service Information Manual reflect the correct notation.
