After replacing the headliner for the "fish" type odor, it is essential the following additional steps be performed to assure the odor is completely eliminated from the vehicle.
1. Vacuum the interior to assure all the fiberglass particles left from the original headliner are removed.
2. Shampoo the carpet, seats and door panel fabric areas to eliminate any lingering odor with GM Multi Purpose cleaner. This cleaner is available in various quantities as follows:
