ELECTRONIC LEVEL CONTROL OPERATION OF SYSTEM

THE CUTLASS CIERA ELECTRONIC LEVEL CONTROL CAN AUTOMATICALLY COMPENSATE FOR A LOAD INCREASE WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH IN THE "ON" OR "OFF" POSITION. OPERATION OF THE COMPRESSOR WITH THE IGNITION IN THE "OFF" POSITION IS LIMITED TO 5 CUMULATIVE MINUTES EACH TIME THE IGNITION HAS BEEN TURNED OFF. ALL OTHER 1982 & 1983 OLDSMOBILE ELECTRONIC LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEMS REQUIRE THE IGNITION TO BE IN THE "ON" POSITION FOR THE COMPRESSOR TO OPERATE.
