INOP 'DOOR AJAR' WARNING LIGHT NEW 'DOOR AJAR' SWITCH

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Pontiac 6000 'STE'

An intermittent or inoperative 'Door Ajar' light on the Driver Information Centre (D.I.C.) could be caused by an inoperative door ajar switch.

To verify the condition, depress the switch and observe the D.I.C. Any inoperative switch should be replaced with a new switch part number 20555200.
