PARKING LAMP TO FASCIA GAPPING (INSTALL NEW SHIM)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990 'E'

Some 1990 Oldsmobile Toronados or Trofeos may experience a gapping condition between the parking lamp and the bumper fascia. To correct this condition, fabricate shim using pattern provided (refer to Figure 2) out of 1/16" shim stock and install between the energy absorber unit and the bumper reinforcement as shown in Figure 1.

NOTE: More than one shim may be required depending on size of gap.
