CELLULAR TELEPHONE COMPARTMENT LATCH

MODELS/YEARS 1989-90 TORONADO

Some 1988-1989 Oldsmobile Toronados equipped with a cellular telephone (option UZ3 and UV9) may experience a condition where the telephone compartment is difficult to unlatch or where the latch stop unit is damaged. This condition may be caused by a high latch release effort required to open the compartment. To repair these conditions a new latch unit kit, P/N 03634779, and a new stop unit kit, P/N 03634787, has been released.
