SUBJECT FUEL TANK SENDER ASSEMBLY CALIBRATION/POOR MILEAGE RANGE (REPLACE FUEL TANK AND FUEL TANK SENDER ASM.)

MODELS/YEARS 1990 SILHOUETTE

CONDITION:

Some 1990 Silhouette owners may comment about poor mileage range and/or inadequate empty reserve fuel. The total fuel fill up, from an "empty" reading, may be as low as 15-16 gallons.

CAUSE:

------ Fuel tank sender calibration and/or concavity (bowing upward) of lower fuel tank surface.

CORRECTION:

----------- Replace existing fuel tank and fuel tank sender assembly with those indicated below following applicable Service Manual procedures.
