CONDITION: Owners of some 1991 Ninety-Eight models may comment about the defrost pattern or weak blower operation on the driver's side of the windshield.
----------- 1. Remove instrument panel upper trim pad. 2. Wrap vanes two, four, and six and boss with duct tape. See the illustration below.
3. Cut screw, fourth vane, and boss out of distributor assembly. 4. Remove vanes two and six from distributor assembly by twisting out with 90 degree needle nose pliers. 5. Reinstall instrument panel upper trim pad. 6. Clean inside of the windshield and top of the I.P. upper trim pad.
