For 1990-2009 cars only
- Slide the sunroof sunshade to the open position.
- Position the sunroof glass panel to the full closed position.
- Separately loosen the sunroof glass panel screws.
- Individually adjust the 4 corners of the sunroof glass panel.
- Adjust the front of the sunroof glass panel. Ensure that the sunroof glass panel front (3) is 0.5 mm (0.020 in) below the top surface of the roof panel. Also, the sunroof glass panel seal (1) is centered.
- Adjust the rear of the sunroof glass panel. Ensure that the rear of the sunroof glass panel (2) is 0.5 mm (0.020 in) above the top surface of the roof panel.
- Tighten the sunroof glass panel to sunroof module screws.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the sunroof glass panel to sunroof module screws to 4 N·m
(35 lb in).
