Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 594496 Size: SH
  2. Remove the water trough to sunroof module screws (1).
  3. Rotate the water trough the rear to remove it from the hold down.
  4. Remove the water trough from the vehicle.

    5. Object Number: 548075 Size: SH
  5. Remove the sunshade from the sunroof module.

    6. Bow the sunshade to extract from the sunshade guide channel.

Installation Procedure
  1. Align the sunshade to the sunroof module.

    2. Object Number: 548076 Size: SH
  2. Insert one side of the sunshade into the sunshade guide channel of the sunroof module.
  3. Bow the sunshade and insert the other side into the sunshade guide channel.
  4. Slide the sunshade forward and backward to check for proper operation.

    5. Object Number: 594496 Size: SH
  5. Align the water trough to the sunroof module.

    6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the water trough to sunroof module screws (1).

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the water trough to sunroof module screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement .
