Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle .

  2. Object Number: 322984  Size: SH
  3. Depress the tabs located on the top and bottom of the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly.
  4. Remove the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly.

  5. Remove the 3 screws (1) from the signal switch housing assembly (2).
  6. Remove the signal switch housing assembly (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 322987  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the signal switch housing assembly (2) and secure by using (3) screws (1).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  3. Install the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly to the signal switch housing assembly.
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle .
